New donated professorship in Finance at Turku School of Economics (TSE)

Dr. Kim Ristolainen has been appointed Assistant Professor of Finance (tenure-track) in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Turku School of Economics (TSE), effective from the beginning of 2026.

Lieto Savings Bank Foundation has made a five-year donation commitment to Turku School of Economics (TSE) , with a total value of 600,000 euros.

Dr. Ristolainen earned his Doctor of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Turku in 2017 and was awarded the title of Docent in Financial Economics by TSE in 2024. He has held visiting researcher positions at the Bank of Finland’s Research Unit and at the Department of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
